Sleeping Beauty Turquoise Ring in Copper

Raw Sleeping Beauty Turquoise stones are electroformed with pure copper, giving the stone a unique and organic looking setting.

Sleeping Beauty Turquoise is the BEST quality of all turquoise varieties. These gems were mined locally here in Globe, Arizona, and the dreamy bright blue and silky smoothness make it unique compared to other types of turquoise. The Sleeping Beauty mine closed in recent years, making these specific stones even more precious and valuable.

Stones are natural so will vary in exact shape color pattern and size, but will be about 1/2 to 3/4 inches long and about 1/3 - 1/2 inches wide.

Each ring is made by hand and electroformed with pure copper for 12 hours, allowing a unique detailed texture to develop on each ring. They are then buffed, polished and sealed with a protective layer to maximize luster and help prevent potential tarnishing and skin discoloration that can occur on some people who wear copper jewelry.

Electroforming is a very time intensive process which produces amazingly unique yet unpredictable results. Every piece of electroformed jewelry will have its own beautiful imperfections that make it truly one of a kind!
