Green is the color of life and renewal, and green aventurine carries all of it. It has long been connected to growth, abundance and new beginnings, and it's often linked to the heart chakra. Its sparkle, called aventurescence, comes from tiny flakes of fuchsite mica trapped inside the quartz, so it catches the light like sun through leaves.
The shape matters too. A single crystal point is thought to direct energy one way. A double terminated point has a point at each end, so in crystal practice it's believed to move energy in both directions at once, drawing new energy in while sending old energy out. Release what's done and make room for what's next, all in one stone.
The butterflies are carved from African green chalcedony, a form of quartz made of crystals so small you'd need a microscope to see them, which gives it that glowy, translucent finish. Six of them flutter along the chain, little signs that change is already happening.
